This unmounted mint block or partial sheet of 45 Pul postage stamps was issued by Postes Afghanes (Afghan Post) and features architectural and landscape imagery in a distinctive blue to ultramarine shade. Each stamp carries the inscription “POSTES AFGHANES” along with the 45 Pul denomination. Preserved in block format, the piece offers an interesting example of vintage Afghan philately and highlights the use of architectural and landscape imagery in the country’s postal issues.
