This complete uncut sheet of 100 mint, uncancelled definitive postage stamps was issued by Afghanistan during the reign of King Mohammed Zahir Shah as part of the definitive issues of 1939–1946. Each stamp carries a denomination of 40 Pul and features the inscription “POSTES AFGHANISTAN” alongside Dari/Pashto script. The central design depicts a landmark associated with the Darul Aman complex in Kabul, reflecting Afghanistan’s architectural heritage. Arranged in a 10 × 10 grid, the sheet retains its original white selvage margins and line perforations, preserving the complete printer’s-sheet format. Its intact condition and historical context make it an interesting example of Afghanistan’s mid-20th-century postal history.
